Welcome to an exciting, informative website.
Stress and lifestyle problems are at the forefront of everyone's mind. How can you deal with the stress that life throws at you? I hope to answer some of your questions through this website. It is a wealth of information and I welcome any comments or contributions you may wish to make.
Some of the skills available through the website:
Stress management, counselling, training or talks to groups and organisations.
Nutritional assessment. Are you eating too much, comfort eating or eating at the wrong time of the day? Do you feel bloated after certain foods? Are you feeling lethargic, drained and generally run-down?
Physical stress. Where do we all feel our physical tension? It is usually in the neck and shoulders, so how can we cope with the constant feeling of tightness in these areas and how can we eliminate the tension headaches which are caused by stress in the neck?
Exercise. There is nothing better than exercise to get rid of built up stress and tension in the body. We can provide a programme which is suited to your capabilities and where you can improve and see a difference. Additionally, regular exercise helps your longevity and general health.
Relaxation therapies. Aromatherapy, on-site acupressure massage, Reiki and other visualisation techniques all help to relax the body and the mind.
Sports Therapy. Injuries, either from sport or from everyday life can be painful. Many people continue through life with an ache or pain somewhere in their body. Soft tissue treatment can help and will provide preventative maintenance for the work we carry out everyday.
Sports Psychology. There are many ways to improve the performance of a sportsperson or team. Their fitness, advice on techniques, tactics and strategies. However there is another, very important, aspect of improving performance which is understanding the link between body and mind.
Neuro Linguistic Programming. NLP encompasses the three most important components of human experience: it explores the dynamics between mind and body (neuro), and language (linguistic), and how their interplay (programming) affects our behaviours.
